Magellan Residential Care was founded in 2013 by Walter Taylor and Salbiyah Seebi. Walter has a compassionate heart for the special needs community. He was born with a minor physical disability in which he was able to overcome in the mainstream corporate world without any assistance for over 35 years. Walter also watches one of his older brothers with a disability experience life challenges.

Salbiyah was born in Singapore and worked for Singapore Airlines she encountered individuals with developmental disabilities in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Hawaii that gave her the determination to change the world and on how people view them.

Both were inspired to develop a facility that would assist others in living independently. With over 3 years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities as an independent contractor for an agency, it is now our mission of Magellan Residential Care to foster our own quality care for each client by providing services and resources for their overall well-being.
